- 20 Greek olives, pitted and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Boil a substantial container of salted water until it reaches its maximum temperature. Prepare spaghetti by immersing it in the boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it reaches a slightly firm texture; remove from the water.

Heat a small amount of oil in a shallow pan over a low flame; cook minced garlic in the oil until it turns a light golden color. Introduce sieved crushed tomatoes into the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add anchovies, tomato paste, capers, olives, and red pepper flakes to the mixture. Continue cooking for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
