Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
- 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
- 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives
- 1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
1
Begin by filling a large pot with water and adding a moderate amount of salt. Place the pot over high heat, allowing it to reach its boiling point. Once boiling, carefully add spaghetti to the pot and stir occasionally as it cooks until it reaches your desired level of doneness, taking around 12 minutes to achieve. Remove the spaghetti from the water using a colander and transfer it to a 7x11-inch baking dish.
2
Next, preheat your oven to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). In a separate bowl, combine the spaghetti sauce and pasta until the sauce is evenly distributed. Then, add multiple layers of pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms on top of the spaghetti. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to prevent drying out.
3
Bake the prepared dish in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until heated through. After this time, remove the foil and sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the top of the spaghetti. Return the dish to the oven and continue baking until the cheese is fully melted, taking around 10 minutes to achieve.
