Heat a skillet over medium temperature; melt butter in it. Introduce soy sauce into the mixture and stir well. Add chopped green onions and minced garlic to the skillet, then cook until they turn lightly browned, approximately 2 minutes.

Position pork steaks in the skillet. Cover it and cook until the meat develops a brown color, taking around 8 to 10 minutes per side. Remove the lid and continue cooking until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the steak registers 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), taking about another 10 minutes.
