Ingredients
- 6 boneless pork chops
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
1
Collect and prepare all necessary ingredients.
2
Poke holes in pork chops on both sides with a fork to create small punctures.
3
Mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, oil, ginger, and garlic powder in a bowl until well combined.
4
Set aside about 1/4 cup of marinade for later use; pour the remaining marinade into a resealable plastic bag. Place pork chops inside the bag, cover them with marinade, remove any air pockets, and seal the bag tightly. Refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours.
5
When ready to cook, heat up an outdoor grill to high temperature and lightly brush the grate with oil. Remove pork chops from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
6
Cook pork chops on the preheated grill, basting frequently with the reserved marinade, until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), flipping them over every 6 to 8 minutes until they are no longer pink in the center.
