Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
- 1 1/2 pounds swai fish
- 1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon seasoned rice vinegar
Instructions
1
Preheat your cooking surface by heating oil in a deep-sided pan over an intermediate temperature. Introduce the aromatic ginger and cook until its distinctive scent is released, approximately 30 to 60 seconds.
2
Next, add the fish fillets, a savory sauce made from soy sauce, water, chopped scallions, fresh cilantro, and vinegar to the pan. Stir until a boil is reached and then cover the container.
3
Subsequently, take the pan off the heat source and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes. During this time, the fish should become tender and easily flake apart with a fork.
