Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to its highest temperature setting, which is 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the sour cream and sugar in a thorough mixing motion until they form a smooth and velvety consistency. Introduce the eggs into the mixture, stirring until they are fully incorporated.
3
Add a blend of dry ingredients to the bowl, including baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vinegar, and raisins. Continue to stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
4
Pour the resulting mixture into a pre-baked pie crust, taking care to fill it evenly and completely.
5
Place the filled pie crust in a preheated oven and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the desired level of doneness is achieved.
6
Once the pie has been removed from the oven, allow it to cool in the refrigerator before serving.
