- 1/2 pound snow peas
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
- 1/2 cup chicken broth

Combine soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl, blending them thoroughly until the cornstarch is fully incorporated and dissolves completely; reserve.

Heat a skillet over medium heat, spraying it with cooking spray; add the sesame oil and let it warm up. Add the snow peas and carrots to the skillet, stirring them around for 2 minutes. Pour the broth over the vegetables, then bring the mixture to a boil. Cover the skillet and lower the heat to low; let it simmer gently until the vegetables are slightly tender, approximately 5 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce mixture and continue to stir-fry until the sauce thickens.
