SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 20 chocolate wafer cookies, finely ground
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1/2 cup caramel chips, divided
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts, divided
- 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
- 16 mini chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat candy bars (such as Snickers®), divided
- 1 (7 ounce) can whipped cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1
First, preheat your oven to a medium-high temperature of 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2
Next, combine ground cookies, butter, and a small amount of sugar in a mixing bowl until they come together as one. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the base.
3
On top of this crust, spread a layer of caramel chips and chopped peanuts.
4
In another bowl, mix together cream cheese and a substantial amount of sugar until it reaches a smooth consistency. Blend in milk to achieve the right texture. Gradually add eggs one at a time, stirring until just combined. Then, incorporate sour cream, vanilla extract, and flour into the mixture using a wooden spoon until it's completely smooth.
5
Add small pieces of mini candy bars to this batter and mix well. To prevent them from sinking, toss these pieces with a small amount of flour in another bowl before adding them to the mixture. Finally, pour this batter into the crust-lined pan.
6
Bake the cake in your preheated oven for 1 hour, keeping the door closed to maintain heat. After this time has passed, turn off the oven and let the cake cool inside for at least 3 hours.
7
Once cooled, remove the cake from the oven and refrigerate it for an extended period of 8 hours to overnight.
8
Release the cake from its pan and transfer it to a serving plate. Decorate the top edge of the cake with whipped cream.
9
In separate bowls, heat 1/4 cup caramel chips and 2 tablespoons chocolate chips in the microwave until melted, taking about 1 minute. Drizzle this melted caramel over the cake and repeat with the chocolate for an attractive finish.
10
Chop any remaining candy bars and arrange them on top of the whipped cream. Finally, sprinkle some chopped peanuts over the cake to complete its decoration.
