Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 2 (15 ounce) cans pork and beans
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can lima beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
Instructions
1
Firstly, preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
Next, take a moment to grease a 2 1/2-quart-sized baking dish with non-stick cooking spray, ensuring it is properly coated.
3
Then, combine the ingredients of pork and beans, kidney beans, lima beans, onion, brown sugar, ketchup, and dry mustard in a large mixing container.
4
After that, transfer the combined mixture to the prepared baking dish.
5
Sprinkle a layer of crispy bacon on top of the bean mixture in the baking dish.
6
Cover the entire dish with a layer of aluminum foil to prevent overcooking.
7
Bake the bean mixture in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, allowing it to cook evenly.
8
Remove the aluminum foil covering and continue baking until the mixture starts to bubble, taking approximately 30 minutes more.
