Smoked Salmon Spinach Fettuccine
Ingredients
  • 8 ounces dry fettuccine pasta
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 pound smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh oregano
Instructions
1
Begin by filling a massive container with salted water, and then bring it to a rolling boil. Next, add the fettuccine pasta to the boiling water and cook for 11-13 minutes or until it reaches a delightful firmness; then, drain the water.
2
In a separate, moderately-sized saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and combine it with milk. Gradually incorporate flour into the mixture to thicken it further. Continue stirring until the Parmesan cheese is fully incorporated and melted.
3
Add crumbled salmon to the butter mixture, followed by a handful of spinach, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, and oregano. Stir the ingredients together for about 3 minutes or until they reach a warm, heated consistency.
