Smoked Almond and Bacon-Wrapped Dates
Ingredients
  • 16 fresh or dried pitted dates, such as Medjool
  • 16 smoked almonds
  • 8 thick slices applewood-smoked bacon, halved crosswise
  • Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit (or 205 degrees Celsius, if you prefer metric).
2
Cover a shallow baking dish with aluminum foil; position a roasting grid over the foil.
3
Slice each date into thin strips, then insert almonds between the slices. Press the dates together to seal the almonds inside.
4
Wrap each date with a thin piece of crispy bacon, making sure to cover the entire surface.
5
Place the bacon-wrapped dates on the roasting grid, ensuring they are not overlapping.
6
Bake in the preheated oven until the bacon is golden brown and crispy, taking around 15 to 20 minutes.
7
Serve the warm dates with toothpicks immediately, as they will be scorching hot inside.
