Envelop each leg snugly in aluminum foil. Position the wrapped legs within a slow cooker, ensuring no additional ingredients or liquids are present. Cover and cook on the Low setting for an extended period, approximately 7 to 8 hours, or until the meat is no longer pink at the bone and the juices flow freely. Verify that an instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone registers a minimum of 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
