  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preheat a large skillet over extremely high heat. Place the pork chops inside and quickly cook until they develop a rich brown color, approximately 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Move the pork chops to a slow cooker.

Combine brown sugar, ketchup, diced onion, and freshly squeezed lemon juice in a separate bowl; generously spread the mixture over the pork chops. Close the lid and cook on Low for an extended period, around 4 to 6 hours. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork chops; it should reach at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
