- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 dashes hot pepper sauce, or to taste
- 8 sandwich rolls, split

Position chicken breasts at the base of a slow cooker.

Combine ketchup, maple syrup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, chili powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and hot sauce in a bowl and whisk until the ingredients are harmoniously combined. Pour this marinade over the chicken breasts.

Place the slow cooker on Low mode and let it cook for 6 hours.

Using two forks, pull the chicken apart into shreds. Continue to cook for an additional 30 minutes.
