  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 pounds boneless pork shoulder, cubed
  • 5 (7 ounce) cans green salsa
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapeno peppers

Preheat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat, allowing the olive oil to warm up. Sear and stir the onion and garlic in the hot oil until they release their aroma, taking approximately 2 minutes. Introduce the pork into the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until it's evenly browned on all sides. Transfer the pork mixture to a slow cooker and combine with salsa, tomatoes, and jalapeño peppers.
