Slow Cooker Paprika Pork Chops
Ingredients
  • 4 thick cut boneless pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1½ teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
1
Make shallow cuts in a diamond pattern on each pork chop using the tip of a knife; sprinkle with salt and pepper
2
Combine paprika, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, oregano, and basil in a medium bowl; whisk until well blended. Take 2 teaspoons of the spice mixture and apply it generously to each pork chop, pressing it into the cuts.
3
Mix broth and garlic in the remaining spice mixture; pour this liquid into a 6-quart slow cooker. Place the seasoned pork chops on top of the sauce.
4
Cover the slow cooker and cook on High, basting occasionally with the sauce, until the center of each chop is slightly pink, approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the center of each chop has reached at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
5
Serve the pork chops hot and indulge in your meal
