Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 pound small new potatoes, halved
- water to cover
- 2 (1 inch) cubes salt pork, or more to taste

Collect all necessary components beforehand.

Place a layer of green beans and potatoes at the bottom of a slow cooker. Add just enough liquid to only partially submerge the ingredients. Place salt pork on top.

Seal and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours until the vegetables are tender.
