Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed chicken and rice soup
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
1
Combine the dry ingredients of flour, mustard powder, and garlic seasoning in a small dish. Coat pork chops evenly with the dry mixture, making sure to remove any excess.
2
Next, heat a suitable oil in a skillet over an intermediate temperature. Sear the pork chops in the hot oil until they develop a golden brown color, approximately 4 minutes on each side. Transfer the chops to a slow cooker.
3
In another small container, blend together the soup mix and water. Pour this liquid mixture over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
4
Finally, cook the dish on a low setting for 6 to 8 hours or on a high setting for 3.5 hours. To verify the pork chops are cooked, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of a chop; it should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
