- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons curry powder, or more to taste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger root, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions

Combine water, lentils, a finely chopped onion, minced garlic, sugar, salt, curry powder, turmeric, and grated ginger root in a slow cooker.
