- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped

Insert boneless chicken breasts into a slow cooker device. Add a pinch of salt, a few grinds of black pepper, and the desired amount of Creole-style seasoning to enhance flavor. Combine diced tomatoes with their juices, chopped celery, sliced bell pepper, minced garlic, sautéed onion, sliced mushrooms, and diced jalapeño pepper in the slow cooker with the chicken.
