  • 2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 1 (10 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 cups water, or as needed to cover

Combine chicken, a can of condensed soup, an onion, and butter in a slow cooker. Pour in enough water to completely submerge the ingredients; mix everything together. Cover the container and cook on High for 5 to 6 hours.

About half an hour before serving, break biscuit dough into smaller portions. Place these pieces in the slow cooker. Continue cooking until the dough is cooked through, with no raw center remaining.
