- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium onion, cut into chunks
- 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 2 cubes beef bouillon
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Cover the meat in a generous amount of powder.

Heat oil in a substantial cooking vessel over an intermediate temperature. Introduce the meat and cook until it is uniformly browned on all sides, 7 to 10 minutes.
