Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Rib Tips
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound pork rib tips
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle BBQ sauce, divided
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
Instructions
1
Acquire all necessary ingredients and prepare them for use.
2
Combine brown sugar, chili powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large mixing container until the ingredients are well incorporated. Add rib tips to the mixture and ensure they are evenly coated.
3
Allow the ribs to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, allowing the seasonings to penetrate the meat.
4
Place the coated ribs in a slow cooker and prepare the BBQ sauce mixture. In a separate, medium-sized bowl, combine 3/4 of the BBQ sauce with liquid smoke and mix until the ingredients are thoroughly blended.
5
Pour the BBQ sauce mixture evenly over the ribs, making sure they are fully coated.
6
Cook the ribs in a slow cooker on Low for 4 to 6 hours, or until they are tender and fall-apart.
7
Preheat the oven's broiler by setting an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
8
Line a baking tray or broiler rack with aluminum foil to prepare it for cooking under the broiler.
9
Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on the prepared tray. Baste the ribs with the remaining BBQ sauce.
10
Cook the ribs under the preheated broiler for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until the sauce is hot and sticky.
