Skyline Beef Chili
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup kidney beans
  • 1/2 cup olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
Instructions
1
Sear the beef and sautéed onion in a substantial skillet over an elevated heat setting, which is roughly the middle of high. Transfer the seared mixture to a substantial container and combine it with the tomato sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, warm cinnamon, acidic vinegar, spicy chili powder, piquant cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer, uncovered, over a low heat setting for 1 1/2 hours.
2
During the final stages of cooking, bring a large quantity of salted water to a rolling boil. Introduce the pasta into the boiling water and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it reaches an al dente texture; drain and set aside for serving.
3
Present the meat mixture atop cooked spaghetti, accompanied by a blend of cheese, beans, olives, and chopped onion.
