  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 1/2 cups tomato-basil pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

To begin preparing your lasagna, fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a rolling boil. Submerge lasagna noodles into the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes, or until they reach an al dente texture; drain the noodles.

In a separate cooking vessel, heat ground beef over medium heat with garlic, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir constantly until the beef becomes crumbly and evenly browned, taking approximately 10 minutes to achieve.

Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, and eggs in a large mixing container until the ingredients are fully incorporated.

Arrange 4 lasagna noodles side by side on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan. Spread a layer of prepared tomato-basil sauce, followed by a layer of ground beef mixture and a layer of cottage cheese mixture. Repeat the layered process two more times, culminating with a layer of sauce; finish by sprinkling mozzarella cheese on top.
