Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot pan until it reaches a browned and crumbly state, taking around 8 to 10 minutes. Drain off any excess fat that accumulates during cooking. Add the spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine cottage cheese, two cups of mozzarella cheese, eggs, half a cup of grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, salt, and pepper in a large mixing container.

Spread three-quarters of a cup of sauce into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add three uncooked lasagna noodles on top, followed by one and three-quarters cups of the cheese mixture, and a quarter cup of sauce; repeat this layering process once more. Cover with the remaining three noodles, sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Pour half a cup of water around the edges of the dish to prevent drying out during baking. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
