- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Place the broccoli into the steamer basket and cover the saucepan with a lid, then steam the broccoli until it reaches your desired level of tenderness, typically taking 8-10 minutes.

Transfer the broccoli to a blender and allow it to cool down slightly, giving you about 5 minutes of waiting time.

Combine the milk, Cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese in the blender. Begin blending the mixture using short pulses to get it moving before leaving it on for a longer period of time.
