  • 1 egg, beaten

Begin by placing one pie crust on a lightly dusted surface and expand the dough using a rolling pin. Utilize a 2 1/4-inch round cutter to divide the dough into 10 circular pieces. Continue this process with the second pie crust, resulting in a total of 20 pie crust circles.

Next, fill approximately half of each circular piece with apple pie filling. Place a second circular piece on top to form a mini pie, being cautious not to overfill it. Press down the edges of the mini pies firmly with your fingers, creating a sealed border by crimping them with a fork. Brush the tops of the mini pies gently with beaten egg and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Now, preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly spray the interior of the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange a batch of the mini pies in the air fryer basket, leaving sufficient space between each for proper air circulation.
