Ingredients
- 1 cup Frozen desserts, ice cream, vanilla
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons Sugars, granulated
Instructions
1
First, preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (or 162 degrees Celsius).
2
Next, position two small ceramic containers with lids into a larger baking dish that has a high edge.
3
Now, heat your ice cream in a microwave-safe container using short 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval until the ice cream is fully melted and smooth. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
4
Subsequently, whisk the egg yolks one at a time and blend them thoroughly into the melted ice cream until it's smooth and well combined. Divide the mixture evenly between the two ceramic containers in the larger baking dish.
5
After that, carefully pour boiling water into the larger baking dish until it reaches halfway up each ceramic container.
6
Finally, bake the mixture in your preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until it's set but still slightly jiggly in the center. Allow it to cool completely, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 3 days.
7
To serve, let the ramekins sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Sprinkle a small amount of sugar - about one tablespoon - evenly over each crème brûlée. Use a kitchen torch to heat the sugar until it turns golden and bubbly.
