- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts

- 1 1/2 cups cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined without tail
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil

Heat water to a rolling boil in a saucepan. Introduce rice into the saucepan and stir gently. Lower heat, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow rice to fully cool down.

Prepare a large skillet or wok by heating it for 2 minutes. Once the skillet or wok is hot, pour in vegetable oil, add bean sprouts and sliced onions, and mix everything together. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
