  • 6 ounces garlic flavored processed cheese, cubed
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • salt to taste

Follow the instructions on the package to prepare the grits. Introduce the grated cheese and a pinch of heat with cayenne pepper to the cooked grits. Maintain a low temperature and keep them warm.

Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear minced garlic and diced tomatoes in the hot mixture until they start to become tender. Add the shrimp and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, then continue cooking until the shrimp turn bright pink on the outside and become opaque in the center. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
