Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 4 cups shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 (2.25 ounce) can black olives, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
1
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat, allowing it to reach the optimal temperature for searing. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until it reaches a desirable level of browning, resulting in a crumbly texture, approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool down to room temperature.
2
Arrange a layer of beans at the bottom of a 9x13-inch glass dish or serving platter. Sprinkle a generous amount, equivalent to two cups, of shredded cheese over the beans. Place the cooked ground beef on top of the cheese layer. Spread a thin, even layer of sour cream over the beef, taking care not to overdo it. Spread a layer of guacamole on top of the sour cream, followed by a smooth and even application of salsa. Sprinkle the remaining two cups of shredded cheese over the salsa layer. Finally, top with a selection of black olives, tomatoes, and green onions.
3
Serve the dish immediately, or refrigerate it overnight to allow the flavors to meld together before serving cold.
