- 1 (15.5 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15.5 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15.5 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Begin by adding ground turkey to a large pot over medium heat; cook and stir until it reaches a crumbly texture and is no longer pink, approximately 5 minutes.

Next, add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, onion, garlic, and red wine to the pot; season with a blend of spices including chili powder, cumin, oregano, parsley, and black pepper. Add some heat with red pepper flakes.

Increase the heat to medium-high; bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to a low simmer and cover the pot; let it cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally throughout.
