  • 1 pound Polish sausage, sliced

  • salt and pepper to taste

Combine the potatoes, tomatoes, onion, garlic, and sausage in a substantial container with sufficient water to completely submerge the ingredients.

Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and cook for 15 minutes.

Stir in the lentils, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the pot. If additional water is required to maintain a uniform level of liquid, add it accordingly.
