  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • 1 (12 inch) pre-baked pizza crust

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or as desired

Prepare the sausage by placing it in the hot skillet and stirring constantly until it reaches a browned color, approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and discard any excess fat that may have accumulated.

Next, combine the flour with a small amount of hot water from the skillet until it forms a smooth paste. Gradually add 2 cups of milk to this mixture, stirring occasionally until the gravy reaches your preferred consistency, roughly 10 minutes. Season with black pepper to taste.

Preheat the oven to a high temperature of 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Prepare the baking sheet by placing it in the oven and allowing it to heat up for a short while.
