Ingredients
- 1 pound spicy pork sausage
- 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3/4 (16 ounce) package no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
Season ground meat in a pan over medium heat until it's uniformly browned. Remove excess fat. Introduce Alfredo sauce and fresh spinach; add a pinch of black pepper to taste. Cook until the sauce and spinach are warm throughout.
3
In a separate container, mix together Cheddar cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and an egg. Combine these ingredients to form a smooth paste.
4
Alternate layers of 1/3 ground meat mixture, 1/3 cooked pasta, and 1/3 cheese paste in a rectangular baking dish measuring 9x13 inches. Repeat this process twice, finishing with a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
5
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Allow the dish to rest, uncovered, for 15 minutes before serving.
