Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork sausage (such as Jimmy Dean®)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 4 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough, unrolled and divided into triangles
Instructions
1
Firstly, preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 175 degrees Celsius for those using metric measurements).
2
Next, heat a skillet over high heat and cook the sausage until it is nicely browned on all sides, taking around 8 minutes to achieve this. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
3
Now, combine the cooked sausage with some chopped onion, softened cream cheese, and diced jalapeños in a bowl. Take about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture and place it onto each triangle-shaped piece of crescent dough. Fold one corner of the dough over the sausage and then roll it up into a neat triangle, ending at the pointy tip.
4
Place these rolled dough triangles onto baking sheets.
5
Finally, put your rolls into the preheated oven and bake until they are a golden brown color, which should take around 15 minutes.
