Sauerkraut Beef Hotdish
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 1/4 cups egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup water
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to the optimal temperature for baking, which is 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
Heat a large skillet over the medium-high heat setting, and add ground beef, along with some salt and pepper to taste, as well as onion salt for added flavor. Stir constantly until the beef is nicely browned and has a crumbly texture, taking around 5 to 7 minutes.
3
In a small casserole dish, combine the cooked beef mixture with the cream of chicken soup and sauerkraut. Then, add some noodles and water to the mixture, stirring everything together until it's well combined.
4
Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about an hour, or until the noodles are tender but still retain some firmness to the bite, and the casserole is heated through.
