Ingredients
- 2 (12 ounce) skinless, boneless salmon fillets
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- seasoned salt to taste
- 1 (6 ounce) package spinach leaves
- 1 (17.25 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/3 cup pesto
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to its highest temperature setting, which is 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius.
2
Sprinkle a blend of onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt evenly over the salmon fillets to enhance their flavor.
3
Cut a sheet of puff pastry in half and divide its contents between the two halves. Create a mound in the center of each piece of pastry, then place one salmon fillet on top of it. Spread a layer of pesto sauce over the salmon, followed by another mound of spinach.
4
Wet the edges of one piece of puff pastry with water, then fold it over to meet its counterpart in the center. Press down firmly on the edges to seal them tightly.
5
Bake the salmon and puff pastry creations in your preheated oven until they are puffed up, golden brown, and the salmon is cooked through. The cooking time will be between 20 to 25 minutes.
