- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups regular marshmallows
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped semisweet chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon instant coffee granules
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl to create the crust. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
3
In another bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, condensed milk, chocolate chips, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
4
Spread this mixture evenly over the crust you've prepared.
5
Bake in your preheated oven until the top is dry, taking about 30 minutes.
6
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool slightly before setting it aside.
7
Increase your oven temperature to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
8
In a separate saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt to create the chocolate custard mixture.
9
Gradually whisk in milk as you combine it with the dry ingredients.
10
Cook and stir over medium-high heat until the mixture thickens, taking around 5 to 7 minutes.
11
Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
12
Slowly pour beaten egg into the chocolate custard mixture, stirring constantly as you go.
13
Cook and stir for another 2 minutes before removing the saucepan from the heat.
14
Stir in vanilla extract to add flavor to your chocolate custard.
15
Pour the chocolate custard over the baked pie.
16
Arrange regular marshmallows on top of the pie and sprinkle miniature marshmallows to fill in any gaps.
17
Bake until the marshmallows are lightly browned, taking about 5 minutes.
18
Keep a close eye on the pie to avoid the marshmallows from melting.
19
Place cream for chocolate ganache in a microwave-safe bowl.
20
Microwave on High until hot, being careful not to let it bubble over, taking about 45 seconds to 1 minute.
21
Mix in chocolate, butter, and coffee granules.
22
Microwave for another 30 seconds before stirring until smooth.
23
Let the chocolate ganache sit and thicken, taking about 15 to 20 minutes.
24
Drizzle the chocolate ganache over the pie.
