- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ground black pepper to taste
- 4 pounds bone-in chicken pieces, with skin
- 1 pound fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds

Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit, or 220 degrees Celsius.

In a clear glass container, blend together the margarine, honey, rose water, salt and pepper in a single motion. Heat this mixture in the microwave for 30 seconds, allowing the margarine to soften and blend with the other ingredients. Place the chicken pieces in a baking dish and pour the warm mixture over them, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Place the chicken-filled baking dish in the preheated oven and cook without covering it until the pieces have developed a golden brown color, approximately 15 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to a moderate level of 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius.

Add sliced peaches to the baking dish and sprinkle them with sugar. Continue roasting until the chicken is fully cooked, around 20 additional minutes.

Remove the cooked chicken pieces to a serving dish and pour the remaining juices from the baking dish over them. Top with sliced almonds for a decorative touch.
