Heat the saucepan over high heat, placing the rice and water inside. Bring this mixture to a rolling boil, then gradually lower the heat to a low-burning flame and cover the pan. Allow the rice to become tender, absorbing all the liquid within a time frame of 20-25 minutes.

Simultaneously, combine the luncheon meat, kidney beans with their respective liquid, butter, and onion flakes in a large saucepan. Heat this mixture over an elevated flame, before gradually reducing the heat to a low-burning flame and covering the pan. Allow the mixture to simmer for 15 minutes, periodically stirring it.
