Ingredients
- 1 pound linguini pasta
- 1/4 cup butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup light olive oil
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2
Fill a massive pot with salted water and bring it to a rolling boil. Then, gently add your pasta and cook until it reaches the perfect texture of al dente. Drain the pasta, and set it aside for now.
3
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add most of the garlic and coat it completely with butter. Make sure not to let the garlic turn golden brown, as this would change its flavor. Add your shrimp and toss them to coat with butter. Remove the pan from heat immediately, as the shrimp will not be cooked yet.
4
Coat your shrimp with a generous amount of breadcrumbs, enough to cover them evenly. Transfer the entire mixture to a medium-sized casserole dish. Pour wine and lemon juice over the shrimp, making sure they're well-coated. Cover the dish, and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes.
5
Remove the cover, and bake for an additional 5 minutes to give your dish a nice finish.
6
In a small saucepan, heat olive oil with the remaining garlic. Toss your pasta with the olive oil and garlic mixture to give it a rich flavor. Serve the shrimp over the pasta, accompanied by additional lemon slices on the side.
