- 1 (18.25 ounce) package moist yellow cake mix
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 cup fruit preserves, any flavor

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius.

To prevent the cookie sheets from sticking, lightly spray them with a non-stick cooking spray.

In a large mixing container, combine the cake mix and flour. Proceed to add eggs and water, blending them into a solid mass. This should result in a stiff dough.

On a lightly dusted surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass, cut out circles with diameters of 3 inches. Place these circles 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.

Using a small amount of fruit preserves, create a triangle shape in the center of each circle. Fold the sides over to form three corners and secure with a small pinch.

If necessary, lightly moisten the edges of each cookie to help them stick together during baking.

Bake the cookies in a preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes, or until they are lightly browned. Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheets before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
