Ingredients
- 2 (16 ounce) jars prepared salsa
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (15.5 ounce) jar prepared salsa con queso
- 20 (8 inch) flour tortillas
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
To prevent the dish from sticking, apply a thin layer of cooking oil or non-stick spray to a 9x13 inch baking vessel.
3
Next, fill the bottom of the prepared dish with the salsa.
4
Set the mixture aside for now.
5
In a pan over medium heat, cook and stir ground beef until it reaches a browned and crumbly state.
6
Allow the excess fat to drain from the beef, then add the salsa con queso to the pan.
7
Combine the ingredients by stirring them together thoroughly.
8
Using a spoon, place approximately 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
9
Roll the tortillas into tight cylinders and place them seam-side down on top of the salsa in the baking dish.
10
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the enchiladas.
11
Place the prepared enchiladas in a preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and the enchiladas are hot and bubbly.
