Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 (14 ounce) can refried beans
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
- 6 (9 inch) flour tortillas
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa, or to taste
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
In a large skillet, heat the oil over an average temperature until the ground beef is thoroughly browned, taking anywhere from 7 to 10 minutes. Remove any excess fat from the skillet.
3
Start combining refried beans, one full cup of Cheddar cheese, and taco seasoning into the cooked ground beef mixture.
4
Place a portion of the ground beef mixture in the center of each tortilla and roll them around the filling.
5
Mix together cream of mushroom soup, a generous amount of sour cream, and salsa in a bowl.
6
Fill the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish with half of the cream of mushroom soup mixture.
7
Arrange the rolled tortillas in a single layer within the baking dish, with their seam side facing downwards.
8
Pour the remaining cream of mushroom soup mixture over the tortillas.
9
Top the baking dish with one and a half cups of Cheddar cheese.
10
Bake in your preheated oven until the cheese is bubbly and melted, taking 30 to 35 minutes.
