- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin

- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch ground black pepper, or to taste
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed

Acquire all necessary ingredients and prepare them for use.

Using a masher, thoroughly crush chickpeas in a bowl. Next, combine the crushed chickpeas with chopped onions, fresh parsley, and minced garlic in a blender. Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency.

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, cumin, coriander, salt, lemon juice, baking powder, black pepper, and cayenne until well combined. Gradually incorporate the chickpea mixture into this bowl, mixing everything together thoroughly.

Using your hands, slowly add bread crumbs to the mixture and continue to combine until it forms a cohesive ball that can be shaped into patties.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Using your hands, shape the mixture into twelve 3-inch diameter patties. Fry these patties in hot oil until they turn golden brown, approximately 3 to 4 minutes per side.
