Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cooked white rice
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon milk
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons butter

Combine cooked rice, beaten egg, chopped basil, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create the base mixture.

Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Divide the rice mixture into two identical parts and place them in the pan. Allow it to cook until the bottom is golden brown, approximately 3 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until the other side is also golden brown, around 2 more minutes.
