  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons white wine

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and carefully add the scallops, cooking for approximately 2 minutes on each side. As they cook, sprinkle a pinch of black pepper over the scallops to enhance their flavor.

Next, drizzle a small amount of wine over the scallops and continue cooking until they are opaque all the way through, taking around 1 to 2 minutes.
