Ingredients
- 24 ounces Polish beef kielbasa, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups beef stock
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce, or to taste
- 1 head cabbage, cored and chopped into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Activate the multi-functional electric pressure cooker and choose the Saute function. Sear and stir the sausage and onion until they achieve a deep brown color, approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Introduce butter into the pot and permit it to soften. Combine beef stock, thyme, and hot sauce in the pot and stir until well incorporated. Add cabbage to the mixture and ensure it is evenly coated. Securely close and lock the lid.
2
Proceed with high pressure according to the manufacturer's guidelines; set a timer for 5 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to reach its peak.
3
Carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method as per the manufacturer's instructions, approximately 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
4
Season the sausage and cabbage with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the dish using a slotted spoon, allowing excess liquid to drain off.
